Project: Torn Paper Mount Everest
Media: Notebook Paper and Digital Photography by Stewart Cherlin
The Torn Paper Mount Everest series started with a piece of paper ripped from a notebook. The edge of the paper looked like the north face of Mount Everest. The photos in this set illustrate the integration of the torn paper with several photos of the ice pack landscape taken at Dempster Street Beach, Evanston, Illinois from 2009 through 2011. The photographs show various steps and variations during the transformation process.
